Our love story began on Capitol Hill over coffee in the Rayburn Cafeteria. Years later, Danny got down on one knee on the rooftop of The Met in New York City, and asked the question that turned a DC-Texas romance into forever.
Now we're saying oui in the French countryside, joined by an intimate group of our closest friends and loved ones, to tie the knot. We feel deeply blessed, and we thank God for the gift of bringing our people together in one of our favorite places on earth!

flying in
Coming straight to Bordeaux?
Fly into Bordeaux–Mérignac (BOD): Gets you right where you need to be.
Planning to spend a few days in Paris first? (our recs here)
Fly into Charles de Gaulle (CDG) or Orly (ORY), enjoy the city, then take a train from Gare Montparnasse down to Bordeaux. The train takes about two hours, runs like clockwork, and is way faster than driving.

Saint-Émilion itself is very quaint and completely walkable. But the surrounding area, châteaux, and venues aren't walkable, so you'll need a plan.
Our recommendation: rent a car. Pick one up at Bordeaux airport or train station. It gives you the most freedom to explore wine country at your own pace.
A few things to know:

Rideshares are limited. Book taxis in advance (your hotel or bnb host can help).

The country roads are narrow and dark at night. Drive carefully and give yourself extra time after dark.

Additionally, Saint Emilion roads are VERY narrow and not built for big cars. Rent a small car,
or you may run over a curb like we did! -
Buses will be provided from Saint-Émilion to the wedding venues on both Friday and Saturday.

Please make sure that your passport is valid through at least April 2027.
France requires that all visitors have a passport valid for at least six months beyond their date of departure.

A colorful garden cocktail look fits the setting. Women might wear short or midi dresses with heels, adding a wrap or sweater over the shoulders as the evening cools. Men could choose a sport jacket with trousers or any polished cocktail look that feels comfortable and stylish outdoors.

Attire is black tie optional. French chic.
Women may choose gowns or elevated evening dresses - color is encouraged. Men should plan for a tuxedo or formal suit - cowboy boots are welcome.
